Head Coach Noel McNamara has selected four D.U.F.C. players in his 32-man squad for the upcoming Under 20 6 Nations Championship. Trinity Rugby has more players in the squad than any other club. This proves that D.U.F.C. is capable of attracting and nurturing top rugby talent.
Michael Silvester, in his second year in Trinity, returns to the Ireland Under 20 fold after featuring for the team in last year’s Junior World Championship. Back-three player Michael has been in great form for the First XV this season, scoring seven tries in Division 1A of the Ulster Bank League.

Jack Dunne and Joe Byrne, both first years, have been featuring prominently for the Firsts this year. Jack has been ruling the lineout from the second-row and Joe has been locking down the scrum as tighthead prop.

Max Kearney, another first year, is also included. He has suffered from injury this season and has not yet featured for the First XV. However, he is expected to be a big player for the club in years to come, having already represented Leinster A.
